About the event
Dartmouth College has been around longer than the United States, and harbors some amazing resources for its students and staff. Some of those resources are also made available to the public, and The Hood Museum is a treasure chest filled with more than 74,000 exceptional items. The Hood Museum's collections are drawn from a broad range of cultures and historical periods and represent a remarkable educational asset for both Dartmouth and the communities of the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont.
This adventure will include an hour-long guided tour of the museum's collections, and time to continue exploring the galleries after the tour. Please bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in Hanover.
Program registration includes van transportation from WVRD to the museum and back, and all museum fees.
