About the event
The major and minor league ballparks that are scattered across the country unscatter the people who live in those places and bring them together across generations and politics. Patrick May will be sharing photos and stories from the 142! parks he has personally visited and inlude some of the fascinating urban geography and history that makes each park unique.
Patrick May is a recently retired Geography professor. dHe taught at Plymouth State University for 25 years, where he developed the social studies education program and coordinated the geography and environmental planning programs. His teaching interests are in cultural, historical, and urban geography and he enjoyed working as part of an interdisciplinary committee to develop PSU’s sustainability, minor and major.
